About the role

Framo Flatøy is looking for an Electrical Engineer to work on advanced control systems for pumps used in aquaculture, offshore wind and other critical applications. You will be part of a strong technical team, handling design, documentation and testing of safety‑critical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems for pumps and pump systems.
• Test new control systems at panel manufacturers.
• Prepare technical specifications for procurement and maintain drawing documentation using E3, Eplan or AutoCAD.
• Manage ATEX/IECEx compliance and SIL safety system projects.

Required profile

• Relevant higher education (college, bachelor or technical vocational school).
• Experience with instrumentation in the oil and gas industry.
• Fluent Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• Structured, responsible and quality‑focused work style.

Required skills

• E3, Eplan or AutoCAD for electrical schematics.
• ATEX and IECEx standards knowledge.
• SIL safety system engineering.
• Control system design and testing.
• Technical specification writing.
