HPE Presales Engineer

About the role

Ingram Micro works together with HPE to help partners design and deliver solutions across AI, hybrid cloud, servers, storage, networking and infrastructure. It is looking for a Presales Engineer in Oslo who can combine deep technical expertise with business and partner engagement. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to sales teams, partners and customers, turning business challenges into the right technical solutions and supporting opportunities throughout the sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to HPE partners, customers and sales teams.
• Design and present HPE solutions across servers, storage, networking, hybrid cloud and AI.
• Support opportunities from initial requirements through solution design and proposal.
• Translate customer challenges and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Deliver technical workshops, demonstrations and presentations.
• Support Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and help partners adopt new technologies.
• Train and enable partner sales and technical teams, supporting certifications and competency development.
• Work with Sales, HPE, Vendor Management and other specialists to identify opportunities and win new business.

Required profile

• Ideally experience in HPE Server & Storage, Networking (Aruba / Juniper) or related enterprise technologies.
• A background in Presales, Systems Engineering, Solution Architecture or Technical Consulting.
• Strong technical knowledge combined with an understanding of business and customer needs.
• Experience supporting customers or partners through the sales process.
• Experience in the IT channel or partner ecosystem is an advantage.
