About the role

The position of Process Operator is part of a 6‑shift rotating schedule (day, afternoon, night and weekends) at BASF’s Sandefjord plant, which produces active pharmaceutical ingredients and high‑concentration Omega‑3 supplements. The role involves operating process equipment, documenting production, performing first‑line maintenance and contributing to production optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate various process plants within the facility.
• Document ongoing production activities.
• Carry out first‑line (1st level) maintenance tasks.
• Support innovative solutions to optimise production processes.

Required profile

• Vocational certificate in chemistry, process technology or equivalent technical education.
• Strong technical insight and understanding.
• Proactive and solution‑oriented attitude.
• Good collaboration skills and ability to communicate fluently in Norwegian, both written and spoken; English proficiency is an advantage.
