3rd Engineer - Skandi Mongstad (North Sea)

About the role

DOF is offering an internal career opportunity as a 3rd Engineer on the Skandi Mongstad, joining the vessel from 13 October 2026. The application deadline is 1 October 2026. The vessel operates in the North Sea on a 4-week rotation, and a handover period before embarkation may be required. You will help deliver safe and efficient offshore operations and support a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Holds the certificates, endorsements and qualifications required for the position.
• Meets company, flag state and regulatory requirements for the role.
• Relevant experience from similar vessel types and operations.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team and good communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with DOF procedures and standards, or willingness and ability to learn them.
• Professional attitude focused on continuous improvement and safe operations.
• Additional vessel-specific requirements may apply, such as Scandinavian language proficiency for NOR-flagged vessels and the certification level required for the vessel and position.
