About the role

BAHR is seeking motivated lawyers or trainee lawyers to join its leading tax practice. The team provides comprehensive tax advice, handles administrative complaints and court litigation, and works across sectors such as energy, shipping, real estate, and renewable energy.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver ongoing tax advisory services to corporate clients.
• Assist in tax dispute cases, including administrative complaints and court litigation.
• Support clients in specialized tax regimes for hydro‑power, wind power, aquaculture, shipping and petroleum activities.
• Optionally work on indirect tax (VAT) matters alongside core tax work.

Required profile

• Master of Law (LL.M.) with strong academic results.
• Excellent written and oral communication in Norwegian and English.
• Strong interest in tax law and willingness to work in a leading tax environment.
• High work capacity and ability to handle complex legal issues.
• Good collaboration and communication skills.
