Airport Services Supervisor – Oslo

About the role

Emirates is looking for an experienced Airport Services Supervisor to lead its ground operations team at Oslo Airport. You will ensure smooth passenger handling, resource optimisation and compliance with Emirates standards while contributing to a world‑class travel experience.

Key responsibilities

• Optimise resources to meet customer and operational requirements each shift.
• Proactively manage disruptions such as overbookings, delays, cancellations, adverse weather and crew limitations.
• Complete post‑flight activities and reporting accurately to protect revenue.
• Coordinate with handling agents, caterers and service providers to ensure operational readiness.
• Handle customer queries, complaints and claims promptly and professionally.
• Manage baggage claims and related expenditure in line with company procedures.
• Coach and develop airport services staff, supporting performance management and feedback.
• Conduct credit‑card verification, travel‑document checks and regular audits to ensure compliance.
• Support emergency‑response planning and coordinate stakeholder actions during incidents.

Required profile

• Educated to at least high‑school level with relevant professional training.
• Experience in passenger services and ground operations, including supervisory roles.
• Working knowledge of reservations/fares, ticketing and departure control systems.
• Knowledge of baggage tracing and claims handling.
• Advanced customer‑service skills and fluency in spoken and written English and Norwegian.
• Legal right to live and work in Norway; the company will not sponsor work permits.
