Aseptic Production Operator

About the role

GE HealthCare Oslo, part of GE HealthCare Pharmaceutical Diagnostics, produces diagnostic products such as X-ray, MRI, ultrasound, PET and SPECT products. The Aseptic Department makes products that cannot be terminally sterilised, so production must follow aseptic principles in classified clean rooms. The department currently has 30 employees and is looking for someone with experience of pharmaceutical regulations (GMP) and work in class C and B clean rooms. The work is organised in three rotating shifts: two weeks on day shift (7–15) and a shorter week on evening shift (14–23, Monday to Thursday).

Key responsibilities

• Work according to aseptic techniques in clean rooms of classes A, B, C and D.
• Operate machines and equipment used for aseptic production.
• Clean, disinfect and sterilise machines and equipment before and after production.
• Follow written procedures and ensure good production documentation, both on paper and digitally.
• Contribute to a positive working environment with engaged, loyal colleagues who take responsibility for customers, colleagues and the company.

Required profile

• Vocational qualification as a process operator and/or production experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or food industry.
• Good knowledge of GMP and familiarity with LEAN.
• Good understanding of database systems.
• Good written and spoken Norwegian; good written and spoken English.
• Team player, accurate and quality-conscious, systematic and flexible, with a sense of responsibility.
