About the role

This full‑time position supports the unit manager of the night unit in Tana, combining 70% assistant leadership duties with 30% flexible day‑work or shift work. The role is central to delivering safe, high‑quality patient care and ensuring robust operational readiness within Finnmark Hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Support the unit manager in daily operations and act as deputy when required.
• Assist with operational planning, staffing and resource allocation for the night unit.
• Ensure compliance with clinical quality standards and safety procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant vocational qualification.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, be structured and adapt to changing priorities.
• Commitment to quality, safety and efficient service delivery.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Norwegian (written and spoken).
• Good English language skills.
• Digital competence and experience with administrative systems.
