Barnehagelærer – Engasjert lærer for barn i Blomsterdalen

About the role

The position is for a qualified Barnehagelærer (kindergarten teacher) at Læringsverkstedet Blomsterdalen, a three‑group preschool with 51 children located in the Blomsterdalen area of Bergen. The role focuses on creating a safe, engaging, and development‑rich environment where children can explore nature, play, and learn.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure daily operations align with Læringsverkstedet’s value platform and quality standards.
• Create and maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment for children and staff.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate educational projects and activities.
• Share knowledge about child development and support professional growth among staff.
• Guide and support colleagues in pedagogical methods and act as deputy for the pedagogical leader when absent.

Required profile

• Qualified with a recognized college degree as a Barnehagelærer or preschool teacher.
• Warm, relational, and attentive to each child’s needs and expressions.
• Solution‑oriented, flexible, collaborative, and able to communicate with diverse families.
• Responsible, independent, and comfortable working under pressure.
• Strong Norwegian language skills, both written and spoken.
