Category Sourcing Specialist

About the role

The Category Sourcing Specialist will lead and execute sourcing strategies that support Pixii’s competitiveness and growth. Working at the heart of the supply chain, you will develop category strategies, ensure supply continuity, and drive cost efficiency for key material groups.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate sourcing strategies for assigned material categories in collaboration with engineering, product, and project teams.
• Manage supplier relationships, drive continuous improvement in quality, delivery, and commercial terms.
• Conduct RFQ processes, benchmark market prices, and perform should‑cost analysis to identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with suppliers.
• Collaborate with R&D, product management, and quality functions on new product development sourcing decisions.
• Maintain accurate supplier data, ECN, and ERP system operations for the sourcing function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related field.
• 2+ years of sourcing and procurement experience, preferably in electronics, electrical, or industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with engineering projects, technical specifications, and supply‑chain contracting.
• Strong negotiation track record and ability to deliver commercial outcomes.
• Project‑management experience is an advantage.
