Child Care Worker – SATS Bislett Gym

About the role

SATS Bislett is looking for a child care worker to look after children who visit the gym while parents train. The role is part-time and takes place in the gym's child care area.

Key responsibilities

• Keep children safe and happy while their parents exercise
• Create a positive atmosphere through play and by maintaining order and good routines
• Engage children with varied games and activities
• Build good relationships with members and their children
• Help keep the centre clean, tidy and welcoming together with colleagues

Required profile

• Enjoys children and communicates well with them
• Seen as trustworthy and reliable
• Initiates play and finds creative activities
• Team-oriented, thoughtful and supportive
• Initiates dialogue with parents and builds on it
• Systematic, organised and follows procedures and rules carefully
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays when needed
