Contracts Manager

About the role

Flynn is a first‑generation construction company operating across Ireland, the UK and Northern Europe, specialising in critical environments such as data centres, life sciences and aviation. The Contracts Manager will join the high‑performing project team in the Nordics, reporting to the Associate Director/Director and will be responsible for bidding, managing and delivering multiple projects safely, profitably and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement a Health & Safety culture on all projects.
• Actively pursue new business opportunities and convert them into viable projects.
• Manage the entire bid process from lead to site commencement, with support from the Commercial Manager.
• Lead project teams to meet key milestones while protecting profit margins.
• Oversee commercial performance to ensure margin objectives are achieved.
• Maintain strong client relationships and coordinate with design teams and external stakeholders.
• Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks in partnership with the commercial team.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on innovation and business improvement initiatives.
• Foster an inclusive team culture and promote positive team ethic.

Required profile

• 10+ years of construction experience, including at least 5 years as a Project Manager.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proactive self‑starter comfortable with ambiguity.
• Proven ability to build and retain high‑performing teams.
• Track record of identifying and developing new business opportunities.
