About the role

KONE is seeking a Door and Gate Technician for its Sandefjord area. The position primarily involves handling emergency service, modernization projects, and maintenance contracts for customer doors and gates, all in line with KONE’s guidelines and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide urgent service and troubleshooting for door and gate systems at client sites.
• Execute modernization and scheduled maintenance contracts according to agreed service levels.
• Carry out new installations and upgrades, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage customer communication, logistics, and project progress within the assigned territory.

Required profile

• Solution‑oriented, organized and strong communicator.
• Independent, practical, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Team‑player with good collaboration skills and a focus on safety.

Required skills

• Experience with mechanical work on doors and gates.
• Understanding of electrical systems related to door and gate equipment.
• Knowledge of the door and gate industry and related maintenance practices.
• Valid driver’s licence class B/BE.
• Forklift or lift operation certificate (preferred).
