Event Producer

About the role

Amex GBT is seeking an experienced Event Producer to lead complex, large‑scale events across the Nordic region. The role is office‑based with travel to event sites and requires close collaboration with Creative Managers and Event Leads.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee detailed production plans, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Event Leads and clients, recommending optimal production solutions.
• Coordinate technical teams, suppliers, and service providers to deliver innovative, cost‑effective solutions.
• Manage all production phases, from planning through on‑site execution, maintaining quality standards.
• Prepare and control production budgets, negotiate contracts, and handle real‑time problem solving during live events.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing event productions.
• Fluent in English and Norwegian, Swedish or Danish.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross‑functional and stakeholder collaboration.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of working time across the Nordic region and Europe.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of staging, AV equipment, and lighting.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple aspects of large‑scale events simultaneously.
