Experienced Geotechnical Engineer – Tromsø

About the role

Norconsult Tromsø is looking for civil engineers (MSc) with a specialisation in geotechnics. Both graduates and experienced geotechnical engineers are invited to apply. You will join a larger team of geotechnical engineers within a strong national professional community of around 120 geotechnicians in Norway and 30 in Sweden, supported by field units with drilling rigs and laboratories in Sandvika, Molde and Gothenburg.

Key responsibilities

• Work on all types of geotechnical issues, mainly in large multidisciplinary projects in roads, railways, airports, office and commercial buildings, industrial development, ports and municipal infrastructure.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary advisory teams that design and solve client challenges.
• Benefit from a strong digital environment, including coding, data visualisation, 3D/BIM modelling and parametric modelling.

• Good spoken and written Norwegian.
