Financial Integrity Specialist – Global Policy Centre

About the role

The Financial Integrity Specialist will work within the UNDP Global Policy Centre for Governance, providing expertise on financial integrity to develop integrated policy alternatives and solutions. Reporting to the Team Lead, Integrated Data and Governance Solutions, the incumbent will contribute to research, analysis, and advocacy, and help build strategic partnerships across the UN Development System and the wider international community.

Key responsibilities

• Identify priority financial integrity issues in consultation with UNDP Regional Hubs and global thematic teams, shaping the Centre’s strategic direction at country, regional, and global levels.
• Conduct data‑driven policy research and analysis on governance dimensions of financial integrity, including systemic de‑risking to enable sustainable investment.
• Collaborate with technical partners and stakeholders to strengthen coordination on evidence‑based research initiatives and develop integrated policy alternatives.
• Design and implement stakeholder engagement platforms such as country‑level dialogues, global roundtables, and side events to foster knowledge exchange and consensus building.
• Produce policy briefs, reports, and knowledge products, and support testing, application, and uptake of policy solutions at the country level.
• Map best practices and facilitate south‑south and triangular cooperation, promoting learning on successful financial integrity measures and de‑risking approaches.
