About the role

The department Ternholmtunet provides residential care for adults with intellectual disabilities. We are looking for a qualified health‑care worker to join our night‑shift team on a 67 % permanent basis. The role focuses on safe supervision, medication handling and contributing to a supportive environment during night hours.

Key responsibilities

• Provide night‑time supervision and targeted environmental support for residents.
• Handle and administer medication according to established procedures.
• Document care activities accurately in the professional journal.
• Participate in service development and promote a positive work atmosphere.

Required profile

• Vocational certificate and authorization as a health‑care worker (Helsefagarbeidar).
• Good command of Norwegian, both written and spoken.
• Strong personal qualities such as flexibility, solution‑orientation, ethical conduct and the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to take responsibility, learn continuously and respect the resident group.

Required skills

• Medication handling.
• Use of an electronic client documentation system.
