IC Digital Design Intern

About the role

Join Sony Semiconductor Solutions as an IC Digital Design Intern and contribute to the development of advanced CMOS image sensors. You will work with an international team on timing, control signals, amplifiers, converters, and signal‑processing blocks for cutting‑edge camera and imaging products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop RTL/firmware for pixel array readout, amplifiers, ADC/DAC and signal‑processing IP blocks.
• Collaborate with analogue, product engineering and functional‑safety teams in Europe and Japan to define specifications and verify designs.
• Support verification, validation and documentation of IP blocks and the overall sensor product.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or Computer/Software Engineering degree with at least one year remaining.
• Fluent in English and authorized to work in Norway.
• Strong academic background in electronics, digital design or related technical fields.

Required skills

• RTL design and firmware development.
• Digital design, verification and validation of IP blocks.
• Knowledge of CMOS image sensor architecture and signal‑processing concepts.
