Junior Service Technician – Refrigeration and Heat Pumps

About the role

Johnson Controls is looking for a junior service technician for its refrigeration team in Bærum/Vøyenenga. The work covers industrial refrigeration systems and heat pumps, and the position is based in eastern Norway with customers located in the Oslo area, so living near Oslo is required.

Key responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems and heat pumps (compressors, pumps, automation/control)
• Refurbishment and replacement of components in refrigeration systems
• Follow-up visits related to operation and service agreements

Required profile

• Graduate or junior technician wanting to develop quickly in a challenging technical role with varied days
• Vocational qualification as a refrigeration fitter or equivalent, or recently completed vocational exam
• 1–2 years of relevant experience after the vocational exam
• Good Norwegian, basic spoken and written English
• Class BE driving licence
• Ability to work independently and in teams, customer-oriented service attitude
• Candidates living elsewhere in Norway who are willing to move to the Oslo area should state this clearly
