Onsite System Engineer (Level 2 EUC + Datacentre)

About the role

Itproposal is looking for Level 2 Onsite System Engineers to support a 24x7 operational environment covering End User Computing (EUC) and Data Centre services. The position is based in Tydal, Norway, and requires onsite coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 onsite IT support and dispatch-based technical assistance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop hardware and software issues, and diagnose printer problems.
• Support end users and respond to service requests within the Next Business Day (NBD) SLA.
• Carry out onsite visits of 2 hours, half-day and full-day length, keeping clients informed of progress.

Required profile

• Proven experience in L2 IT support or desktop support, including onsite and dispatch-based support.
• Experience supporting EUC and Data Centre environments.
• Ability to work independently and respond to service requests promptly.
• Good English communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to provide onsite coverage in Tydal, Norway.

Working conditions

• Shift pattern: morning 06:00–14:00, evening 14:00–22:00, night 22:00–06:00.
• Rotation schedule: morning, evening, night, then three days off.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 shift-based operation and follow the rotation schedule.
