Private Sector Partnerships Adviser

About the role

We are seeking a Private Sector Partnerships Adviser to serve as the operational backbone of NRC Norway’s Private Sector Partnerships function. The role combines partnership management, data analysis and compliance to strengthen private‑sector engagement for humanitarian impact.

Key responsibilities

• Provide data and analysis on private‑sector income, projects and partners to senior leadership and finance teams.
• Support the Director in implementing fundraising strategies and develop guidelines, tools and procedures for private‑sector collaborations.
• Represent the section in the design, rollout and maintenance of the Cycles CRM system and produce regular reports and visualisations.
• Deliver training and ensure compliance with ethical guidelines, due‑diligence and GDPR across the organisation.
• Manage special projects and any additional tasks assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years experience in business development, private‑sector marketing, social impact or related fields.
• Proven track record in strategic relationship building, fundraising and networking with public, private and non‑profit stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Norwegian language skills are an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Data analysis and visualisation tools.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Cycles).
