Project Manager – Sewerage and Municipal Engineering

About the role

Novaform is looking for a project manager within sewerage and municipal engineering for its department in Stord. You will be responsible for planning and delivering projects from idea to completion, in a professional team environment where you can take a central role in leadership and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, lead and follow up sewerage and municipal engineering projects from start to handover
• Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure quality and progress
• Handle budget control, risk management, scheduling and reporting
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and contracts, including health and safety and environmental requirements
• Lead building meetings, status meetings and progress reports, and manage issues in a structured way
• Promote good technical solutions and information flow, and carry out trial runs and functional tests before handover
• Contribute to an inclusive and safe workplace on site

Required profile

• Degree in construction, infrastructure, municipal engineering or sewerage engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in project management, preferably in water and wastewater systems or municipal engineering
• Good knowledge of Norwegian standards, regulations (NS, TEK, VA-miljøblad) and project economics, scheduling and risk management
• Experience with digital planning and project management tools
• Fluent spoken and written Norwegian and English
• Cross-functional collaboration, clear communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
