About the role

We are looking for a motivated Receptionist to join our team at Thon Hotel Rosenkrantz in Bergen on an extra‑help basis. The role involves welcoming guests, handling check‑in and check‑out, and supporting the front‑desk operations across various shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Greet all guests in a professional and engaging manner.
• Perform guest check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Answer the central phone line and manage all inquiries.
• Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception and lobby area.
• Handle guest data confidentially and ensure safety of guests and the hotel.
• Promote and upsell hotel products and services.
• Manage cash and credit transactions.
• Perform other ad‑hoc reception duties as needed.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in similar hospitality or reception roles.
• Responsible and reliable.
• Positive attitude and team‑player.
• Service‑ and quality‑focused.
• Adaptable to a busy environment.
• Systematic with high work capacity.
• Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
