Ringevikar – barnehageassistent

About the role

As a Ringevikar you will actively support the daily operations and pedagogical activities of the kindergarten in line with our value platform, goals and plans.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the kindergarten operates in accordance with Læringsverkstedet’s value platform and quality standards.
• Build equal relationships with children, listening and allowing participation to develop skills, self‑confidence and joy.
• Contribute a positive attitude and drive for both children and the work environment.
• Share responsibility for care and pedagogical work such as group sessions, activities, free play, and routine situations.
• Co‑responsibility for facilitating good cooperation with parents/guardians.
• Stay professionally updated and attend courses and training offered through Læringsverkstedet Academy.

Required profile

• Relationally oriented, attentive to each child’s needs and responsive to their communication.
• Ambitious with a heart for the work, able to create engagement and enthusiasm in children’s play and development.
• Solution‑oriented, flexible and collaborative; able to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and life situations.
• Able to work independently, responsibly and with a strong sense of accountability.
• Warm, caring adult who can act as an active participant in children’s activities; playful, ambitious, generous and clear.
