Senior Data Engineer

About the role

Codento is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead consultant projects focused on Google Cloud, Business Intelligence and AI. You will work in a low‑hierarchy, self‑directed environment, collaborating with teams across Norway and the wider Nordics.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and implement Google Cloud tools for BI, cloud and data engineering projects.
• Design and build data architectures, models and warehousing solutions.
• Create and maintain integration pipelines and production‑grade code.
• Collaborate with sales to open new customer relationships and support business development.
• Work hands‑on with cloud technologies, continuously expanding expertise in Google Cloud and Azure.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Python, SQL and APIs.
• Proven background in data architecture, modeling and warehousing.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and integration pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure engineering.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools and data visualization.
• Track record of delivering production‑grade code in a consulting setting.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
