Veterinary Advocacy Lead – Nordic

About the role

Purina is seeking a Veterinary Advocacy Lead to shape pet nutrition across the Nordics. Based in Oslo, Copenhagen or Stockholm, you will combine scientific expertise with relationship building to strengthen Purina’s presence among veterinary professionals and breeders.

Key responsibilities

• Drive advocacy and recommendation of Purina products within veterinary and breeder communities.
• Develop and execute local veterinary advocacy strategies.
• Lead educational and training programmes focused on pet nutrition.
• Manage and expand the Purina University engagement programme.
• Build and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders, veterinary schools and strategic stakeholders.
• Provide scientific expertise and nutritional training to internal teams.
• Identify new business opportunities and partnerships, including emerging channels.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Marketing, Regulatory, Legal and Veterinary Affairs.

Required profile

• Qualified veterinarian with ~5 years of clinical practice experience.
• Strong understanding of the Nordic veterinary landscape and business environment.
• Proven experience delivering training, lectures or educational programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder‑management and relationship‑building skills.
• Fluent in English and at least one Scandinavian language.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine interest in nutrition and scientific communication.
• Additional nutrition qualifications or pet‑care industry experience are a plus.
