Barnehagelærer – 100 % vikariat

About the role

We are looking for a passionate Barnehagelærer to join our team while one of our staff is on parental leave. The position is a full‑time temporary assignment from 4 January 2027 to 14 May 2027, focused on providing a safe, engaging, and development‑rich environment for children.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure daily operations align with Læringsverkstedet’s value platform and quality standards.
• Create a safe, stimulating learning environment for children and staff.
• Share knowledge about child development and support professional growth within the kindergarten.
• Guide and support colleagues in pedagogical and methodological work.
• Lead evaluation activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate collaboration with parents and act as substitute for the pedagogical leader when absent.

Required profile

• Relationship‑oriented, attentive to each child’s needs and communication.
• Solution‑focused, flexible, collaborative and able to work under pressure.
• Strong sense of responsibility, independence and a caring, warm adult presence.
• Identifies with Læringsverkstedet’s values and is eager to contribute to children’s growth.

Required skills

• Approved higher education as a Barnehagelærer or Førskolelærer.
• Experience in a kindergarten setting is desirable but not mandatory.
• Good command of Norwegian, both written and spoken.
• Police clearance must be provided before employment.
• Personal suitability will be assessed during selection.
