Cloud Engineer – Microsoft Cloud

About the role

Sopra Steria is looking for several new cloud engineers for its Trondheim office. The company works mainly with the largest companies in Norway on end-to-end delivery, helping them define strategy, architecture and analysis of existing environments, and modernising infrastructure and applications for private, hybrid or public cloud.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft technology
• Experience supporting organisations in adopting modern cloud services
• Understanding of agile methods, DevOps approaches and architecture and integration in complex solutions
• Ability to design, implement and optimise infrastructure and platform services, and to build trust with clients
• Fluent written and spoken Norwegian and English

Required skills

• Azure expertise, preferably with relevant certifications
• Security and network services from cloud platforms
• Traditional on-premises Microsoft technology
• DevOps delivery model and processes
• Public cloud and/or hybrid architecture
• Scripting, automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep)
• Microservices and containers
