Daily Manager – Sørnorsk Filmsenter

About the role

Sørnorsk Filmsenter manages around NOK 10 million each year for audiovisual projects in Agder, Telemark and Vestfold, working with filmmakers, producers, game developers and national partners. As daily manager you lead a small organisation of three people and shape the development of the audiovisual sector in a region with strong creative environments. The work is based in Kristiansand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategy, operations, finance and grant management
• Represent Sørnorsk Filmsenter to the industry, owners and national partners
• Support filmmakers, producers and game developers with funding, expertise and networks

Required profile

• Good understanding of film, series, documentaries, animation, games or other audiovisual media
• Knowledge of public funding, grants and incentive schemes
• Experience managing budgets and reporting, and relevant leadership experience
• Background such as a film centre, film institute, fund or cultural administration is valued; leadership experience is helpful but professional legitimacy and trust-building matter more
• Must live in Kristiansand or nearby and be able to settle there on start date
