Door and Gate Technician – Sandefjord

About the role

KONE, a global leader in elevators, escalators and automatic doors, is looking for a door and gate technician for its Sandefjord area. The role mainly covers emergency service, modernisation and maintenance contracts for gates and doors, with overall responsibility for new installations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle emergency service, modernisation and maintenance contracts for gates and doors according to KONE's guidelines and processes
• Oversee the execution and completion of new installations
• Take care of customer contact, communication and logistics within your own area
• Manage your own projects regarding schedule, safety, quality and environment
• Be responsible for your own and others' safety and maintain good work practices and a safe workplace

Required profile

• Experience and understanding of mechanical and electrical work
• Knowledge and experience from the door and gate industry
• Valid category B/BE driving licence
• Good customer relations and teamwork; written and spoken Norwegian, English is an advantage
