Driver & Data Collector – Norway (Lia/Harpefoss/Vinsta)

About the role

Terry Soot Management Group is seeking experienced drivers to join a field data collection project across Norway. You will operate vehicles equipped with removable 360° cameras and lidar sensors to capture high‑quality visual data of streets, public spaces and points of interest for a leading online mapping platform.

Key responsibilities

• Follow pre‑assigned routes and capture comprehensive 360° imagery and lidar scans.
• Store collected data on onboard SSD drives and ensure proper backup.
• Re‑visit specific locations when weather conditions affect image quality.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic mechanical checks.
• Report progress and any issues to project managers using provided tools.

Required profile

• Valid EU‑issued driver’s licence.
• Clean criminal and driving record.
• Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience (taxi, delivery, logistics, etc.).
• Proficiency in English and the local language.
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable using Google Workspace.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
• Reliability, responsibility and a passion for travel.
