Experimentation Specialist – Digital Sales & Experiments

About the role

Schibsted's Dynamic Sales and Experiment team is looking for an Experimentation Specialist based in Bergen, working with Bergens Tidende and Stavanger Aftenblad. You will work systematically on conversion and growth on the newspapers' digital platforms together with the Subscription Brand Team, turning user insights into tests and improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve conversion on digital pages and turn them into testable hypotheses
• Plan, run and evaluate experiments, using data and user insight to understand what drives subscriptions and loyalty
• Analyse results in tools such as Amplitude, Tableau and Snowflake, assessing short- and long-term effects on conversion, revenue and customer relationships
• Build tests yourself with HTML, CSS, low-code tools and good AI tools
• Present findings clearly across the team and share learnings

Required profile

• Comfortable with quantitative data, likes moving from questions to hypothesis, test and learning
• Structured, data-driven and takes responsibility from idea to completion
• Very good written and spoken Norwegian, since you will work with content and customer communication on the Norwegian sites
• Team player across analysis, product, brand and technology; eager to learn more about experimentation and digital growth
• Experience in A/B testing, analysis, digital sales, CRO, product development or similar is an advantage

Required skills

• Basic web development with HTML, CSS or low-code tools
• Ability to analyse results and use data for decisions
• Understanding of digital customer journeys
• Nice to have: A/B testing, Amplitude/Tableau, landing pages, payment walls, low-code, JavaScript and subscription products
