Floor Manager (Coach) - Nike Vestby

About the role

Nike is looking for a Coach (Floor Manager) for its Vestby store in Oslo. The Coach delivers a premium brand experience, coordinates, coaches and motivates the team in their area, supports daily business to meet sales targets and ensures the store meets Nike standards. Coaches specialise in one business area but support cross-functionally.

Key responsibilities

• Commercial: lead a team in efficient product receiving and inventory accuracy, keep the sales floor full and presentable, launch monthly initiatives, use reporting tools for commercial decisions and ensure accurate inventory for digital orders
• Athlete experience: equip the team for high-quality athlete experience, lead engagement on Nike Community Ambassador activities, oversee hiring and onboarding with senior store leadership, manage store scheduling and help maintain a positive Nike culture
• Consumer experience: set an example in sales floor service, ensure the team has brand knowledge of consumer service including digital service enablers, complete and share training with athlete services, and use data and analytics to drive continuous improvement

Required profile

• Advanced customer service skills and proven ability to lead a shop floor or department team
• Ability to coach and develop a strong team
• Effective communicator, brand ambassador and innovative leader
• Demonstrated ability to apply product sales techniques
• Flexible with scheduling and available for retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays depending on department and store needs
