Fulfillment Operating Manager – Day Shift, Dry Department

About the role

Oda develops affordable grocery services, having built Norway's leading online grocery store and now partnering with Mathem in Sweden. As Fulfillment Operating Manager you oversee the operations and performance of a specific day shift in the dry department, ensuring it runs safely, meets performance targets and efficiently. You lead a team of Team Leaders and create a structured environment of effective communication, alignment and planning.

Key responsibilities

• Operational responsibility for the shift's performance in safety, quality, well-being and efficiency, monitored through department KPIs
• Act as role model and coach, guiding and supporting team leaders and other employees
• Help in operations, personnel follow-up cases and resolving issues according to company standards
• Lead Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) on serious near-misses or injuries and ensure deviations are closed within deadlines
• Set expectations for team leaders, keep the shift structure, and ensure meetings and reports are done properly and on time
• Maintain the shift's competency and even distribution of FTEs and skills, and support testing of new initiatives

Required profile

• Operational leader with experience, preferably with broad personnel responsibility
• Experience building a strong team culture and handling difficult conversations
• Comfortable in fast-paced, multinational environments, balancing strategy with frontline work
• Problem-solving mindset suited to a hectic operational setting
• Nice to have: fluency in English, knowledge of Norwegian labour law, and experience in grocery or e-commerce

Required skills

• Experience with warehouse management systems and technologies
• Using numbers and data as an analytical tool in daily production
