Hotel Superintendent – Cruise Fleet (Lysaker)

About the role

Wilhelmsen Ship Management is looking for a Hotel Superintendent to lead interior quality and appearance across its cruise fleet. Based in Lysaker, Norway, you will work with the Hotel Technical Manager, vessel managers and the dry‑dock team to ensure luxury standards are met on all managed vessels.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement fleet‑wide standards for hotel interior maintenance and inspection.
• Develop and execute renewal strategies for equipment and furniture.
• Provide expert guidance for planned and unplanned interior repairs, minimizing guest impact.
• Collaborate with global procurement to select suppliers, manage contracts and monitor performance.
• Lead in‑service and dry‑dock refurbishment projects, including scope, budget, specifications and compliance with class and flag requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in naval architecture, maritime engineering, cruise ship interior design or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience in cruise ship accommodation construction, operations or related field.
• Luxury hotel facility management experience is a plus.
• Previous shore‑based and budget‑responsibility experience are advantageous.
• Strong organizational, delegation and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
