HR Advisor – Employee Experience and HR Processes

About the role

Jotron, a Norwegian technology company with global customers developing communication, navigation and security solutions used in aviation and maritime, is looking for an HR advisor. You will join the HR department at the main office in Larvik and work closely with managers and employees on the employee journey, from onboarding through the whole employment relationship. The role suits someone who wants a varied day combining people contact, administration and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support managers and employees with HR questions and processes
• Contribute to good HR administration, documentation and follow-up
• Prepare and follow up employment contracts and other personnel documents
• Take part in recruitment, onboarding and follow-up of new employees
• Develop HR processes, routines and ways of working, and help use HR systems and digital tools
• Explore how technology, AI and automation can improve HR work
• Take part in HR projects and internal activities, information and communication

Required profile

• Higher education in HR, organisation, management, psychology, labour studies or equivalent
• Interest in HR and the employee journey; open to being newly qualified or having some experience in HR, administration or organisation work
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, written and spoken
• Understanding of confidentiality and professional handling of personnel data
• Structured, quality-focused and able to handle several tasks at once

Required skills

• Good administrative and digital understanding
• Experience in HR-related tasks, employment contracts, recruitment, onboarding, HR systems or process improvement is an advantage but not required
