Kindergarten Teacher – Engaged Educator for a Safe Learning Environment

About the role

We are looking for a passionate kindergarten teacher to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for children in Kleppestø. The role involves both pedagogical and administrative responsibilities, implementing our values platform and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure daily operations align with the organization’s values platform.
• Create an engaging, safe, and development-focused learning environment for children and staff.
• Share knowledge about child development and support professional growth within the kindergarten.
• Guide and support colleagues in pedagogical methods and curriculum planning.
• Lead evaluation processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate collaboration with parents and act as deputy for the pedagogical leader when absent.

Required profile

• Relationship-oriented, attentive to each child’s needs and communication.
• Motivated, solution-focused, flexible, and collaborative.
• Able to communicate with diverse families and work well under pressure.
• Responsible, independent, warm, caring, and aligned with our core values.

Required skills

• Approved higher education degree as a kindergarten or preschool teacher.
• Good command of Norwegian, both written and spoken.
• Ability to obtain a police clearance certificate before employment.
