Lead the Air Force Data & Analysis Section

About the role

The Air Force Supply Command (LFK) is building a new Insight, Data and Analysis (IDA) section. As Section Head you will shape the team, methodology and culture while turning data into actionable insight for material management, logistics and maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, build and develop the newly created IDA section and its staff.
• Provide analysis and advisory services for material management, logistics and maintenance.
• Enhance data foundations to improve decision support for leaders and specialist groups.
• Optimize inventory levels for daily operations and readiness.
• Define and monitor performance metrics.
• Maintain close dialogue with internal customers to translate needs into analysis projects.
• Offer expert advice to leaders across LFK and the wider defence sector.

Required profile

• Master’s or civil engineering degree in economics, logistics or informatics.
• Minimum 5 years experience in material management or logistics in a large organisation.
• At least 5 years experience with analysis, reporting, databases or data processing.
• Proven use of forecasting tools and SQL for data structuring.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP.
• Good written and oral communication in Norwegian and English.
• Ability to obtain a HEMMELIG / NATO SECRET security clearance.
