Maintenance Coordinator

About the role

GE HealthCare Lindesnes produces pharmaceutical active substances for contrast media used in medical imaging, X-ray and MRI, and is one of southern Norway's largest production companies. The maintenance department keeps equipment maintained for safe operation and high availability, and is looking for a structured and engaged maintenance coordinator. The role coordinates work tasks for skilled workers and helps maintain reliability and efficiency in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment. Working hours are mainly 07:00–15:00, reporting to the maintenance manager.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Prepare work for skilled workers and cooperate with operations and suppliers
• Ensure preventive and corrective actions meet health, safety and quality requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and systems
• Plan and coordinate maintenance shutdowns
• Handle requests and work orders
• Support coordination across the factory when needed

Required profile

• Vocational training, college or a technical degree in mechanical trades, automation, process engineering or similar
• Experience in industry or a process environment is an advantage
• Ability to lead and coordinate across functions and organisation
• Experience in maintenance, production or a similar technical environment

Required skills

• Knowledge of data tools and understanding of technical systems
• Hexagon EAM, MS Project, MS Office, Autodesk, AutoCAD and process control systems
