Miljøterapeut 60% fast stilling

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated environmental therapist to join Terna avlasting on a 60 % permanent basis. You will work with children and adolescents with various functional disabilities, providing safe, meaningful and individualized days of support.

Key responsibilities

• Promote safety, wellbeing and personal mastery for each child and youth.
• Plan and carry out tailored environmental activities and interventions.
• Monitor and follow up on health status, including complex somatic conditions.
• Perform nursing and care tasks such as personal hygiene and assistance.
• Handle, dispense and document medication according to established routines.
• Observe health changes and execute relevant medical procedures.
• Ensure clear information flow and continuity of care with families, colleagues and partners.
• Support colleagues on professional questions and contribute to quality improvement.

Required profile

• Authorized nurse or social educator (vernepleier) with a valid Norwegian licence.
• Fluent Norwegian, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver’s licence (category B) and at least 18 years of age.
• Experience working with children and youth with reduced functional abilities is preferred.
• Structured, solution‑oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team.
