Night Receptionist (80% position)

About the role

We are looking for a night receptionist to join Thon Hotel Kautokeino on an 80 % basis. The role starts as soon as possible and involves managing the front desk during the night shift, ensuring a safe and pleasant stay for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the reception desk independently throughout the night.
• Welcome and check‑in guests, handle reservations and inquiries.
• Monitor security systems and respond to any safety issues.
• Perform night‑time hotel procedures such as logging incidents, managing cash drawers and preparing reports.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to address guest needs.

Required profile

• Comfortable working night hours on a rotating schedule (7 nights on, 7 nights off).
• Responsible, solution‑oriented and able to work autonomously.
• Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards guests.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle unexpected situations calmly.
