Process Operator – Aquaculture Feed Production

About the role

Skretting, a global leader in sustainable aquaculture nutrition, is looking for an engaged Process Operator for its Averøy plant. You will play a central role in the automated production of high‑quality fish feed, contributing to the company’s climate‑friendly goals.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and control the extrusion line to produce top‑quality feed.
• Regulate process parameters and monitor product quality from the control room and on‑site.
• Continuously optimise workflows and maintain production equipment.
• Plan and follow up maintenance and cleaning routines.
• Ensure a safe work environment and uphold HSE standards.
• Participate in improvement projects.

Required profile

• Relevant vocational education or apprenticeship and experience in process or manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with automated production processes and willingness to work in a team and shift schedule.
• Curious, responsible, independent and safety‑oriented.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Required skills

• Experience with automated extrusion equipment.
• Ability to read and adjust process control systems.
