Property Management Assignment (1 Year)

About the role

Store Norske's Property Department manages, develops and further develops the company's buildings, housing and property portfolio in Longyearbyen, across its three units: Operations, Management and Planning and Projects. It offers a one-year assignment as Property Manager, with possible conversion to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the leasing of Store Norske's housing portfolio, including signing, following up and checking contracts
• Commercial responsibility for rents and leasing strategy, and follow-up on invoicing and rent collection
• Budget responsibility for rental revenue and costs related to leasing
• Advise tenants on housing allocation according to current rules and waiting lists, together with the property coordinator
• Handle and coordinate enquiries about leasing and operation of residential and commercial property
• Develop continuous improvement of the quality system for property operations
• Coordinate operational enquiries with the operations department and carry out move-in and move-out inspections

Required profile

• Higher education, preferably a master's degree or at least a bachelor's in property, economics, administration, property management or property law
• Experience in a similar position and/or commercial work in leasing, services or sales; experience with residential leasing is an advantage
• Driver's licence for a passenger car
• Customer-focused, systematic and efficient, with good interpersonal skills

Required skills

• Interest in and knowledge of digital tools, preferably experience with a leasing management program and FDV software
• Good written and spoken communication
