Refrigeration Service Technician (Trondheim)

About the role

Johnson Controls is looking for a service technician for its refrigeration and heat pump business in Trondheim. The department is growing, and the work covers industrial cold and heating plants on eastern Norway, mainly in Trøndelag. Both newly qualified people and those with long experience are welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of industrial cold and heating plants, including compressors, pumps and control systems
• Refurbishment and replacement of components in refrigeration systems
• Follow-up visits related to operation and service agreements

Required profile

• Experience servicing industrial refrigeration plants or components
• Trade qualification as a refrigeration fitter and/or experience as a cold room installer
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Norse and English, spoken and written
• Driving licence category B
• Must live in or near Trondheim, as customers are located there

Required skills

• Good understanding of systems
• Knowledge of data tools
• Knowledge of automation and control systems
