ROV Pilot Apprentice

About the role

We are looking for an automation technician eager to develop into an ROV pilot. The apprenticeship combines theoretical training with practical offshore experience, offering a comprehensive learning journey. As an ROV Pilot Apprentice you will support the operation and maintenance of our ROV systems while gaining valuable hands‑on experience in an exciting offshore environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate ROV systems efficiently and safely
• Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Follow health, environment and safety (HSE) procedures for offshore work
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to a strong team environment
• Maintain continuous focus on HSE standards
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and customers, both verbally and in writing

Required profile

• Vocational certificate or relevant education in automation or related fields
• Offshore experience is an advantage but not mandatory
• Valid offshore health certificate
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Good physical condition for dynamic offshore environments
• Proficient Norwegian and English, both spoken and written
• Interest in learning and adapting to new technologies and work methods
