Senior Manager - Fleet Performance & Value Creation

About the role

Wilhelmsen Ship Management is seeking a Senior Manager to lead fleet performance and value creation for its cruise fleet. Based in Lysaker, Norway, you will work closely with operational leaders, technical experts and client stakeholders to turn data and insights into measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and drive fleet‑wide improvement opportunities through structured analysis and operational insight.
• Increase transparency of performance and cost drivers, especially in technical operations and fuel efficiency.
• Review spending patterns, procurement effectiveness and operating practices to strengthen cost discipline.
• Develop forecasting tools and management routines to detect performance gaps and cost overruns early.
• Partner with operational teams to improve efficiency in dry‑docking, procurement, fuel consumption and overall cost control.
• Analyze consumption drivers, spot trends and risks, and recommend actions to enhance operational performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in performance management, analytics or operational excellence within a maritime or transport environment.
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills across technical, financial and commercial functions.
