About the role

We are looking for a service‑minded receptionist to join the front‑desk team at Thon Hotel Opera in Oslo. The role involves welcoming guests, handling check‑in and check‑out procedures, and ensuring a safe and pleasant stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Manage reservations, check‑in and check‑out processes using the hotel’s booking system.
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide information about hotel services.
• Maintain the reception area’s cleanliness and organization.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues.
• Work rotating shifts covering days, evenings and weekends.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a smile.
• Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Reliability and a team‑spirit.

Required skills

• Experience with hotel front‑desk or reception duties (preferred).
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with reservation software.
