Store Manager – Optician Shop

About the role

Synoptik Norge (Interoptik & Brilleland) is looking for a reliable and decisive store manager in Bodo who will lead an experienced team with high professional competence. The role sits close to operations, customers and colleagues, with responsibility for daily running, results and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Create direction, ensure good follow-through and get everyone working toward the same goals
• Set clear expectations, follow up on agreements and stand firm when disagreements arise
• Build trust through open communication and involvement
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences, quality and commercial results
• Motivate staff to cooperate, take responsibility and turn plans into everyday practice

Required profile

• Experience with people management or a clear leadership role, preferably in a shop, service or health setting
• Optician background or experience in the optician industry
• Visible, approachable and close to the team
• Good command of English to read e-mails and take part in internal courses and webinars

Required skills

• Budgeting, key performance indicators and staffing planning
• Operational shop management
