Tech Lead – Pelagus Platform

About the role

Pelagus 3D AS is seeking a Tech Lead to own the technical direction of its Pelagus Platform, the digital backbone for on‑demand manufacturing. You will shape architecture, lead development, and translate commercial strategy into a scalable platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical vision, architecture and roadmap for the Pelagus platform, connecting customers, part data and the global manufacturing network.
• Lead day‑to‑day development delivery, ensuring velocity, quality and cost discipline.
• Collaborate closely with the management team on technology strategy, prioritisation, budgeting and board‑level reporting.
• Translate commercial and operational requirements from sales, engineering, quality and manufacturing into well‑scoped technical deliverables.
• Champion engineering best practices across code quality, security, scalability, testing and documentation.
• Oversee platform reliability, data integrity and integrations with customer and partner systems.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, including AI‑enabled capabilities, where they add genuine business value.
