Technical Services Manager

About the role

Flynn is a first‑generation construction company operating across Ireland, the UK and Northern Europe, specialising in critical environments such as data centres, life sciences and high‑value manufacturing. The Technical Services Manager will lead the delivery of MEP systems from specification through testing, commissioning and handover for projects in the Nordics.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and shortlist M&E partners during tender, supporting pre‑award selection.
• Monitor performance of M&E subcontractors across quality, safety, programme and value.
• Act as escalation point for MEP issues and ensure successful resolution.
• Promote a strong safety culture and enforce Flynn’s Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
• Build and resource the M&E team, allocating appropriate staff to each project.
• Maintain relationships with M&E consultants, utility companies and other key stakeholders.
• Oversee commissioning, demonstration and handover to guarantee successful M&E delivery.

Required profile

• Third‑level qualification in Building Services or related discipline, or qualified trade (M or E).
• Minimum 10 years construction experience, including at least 5 years as a Services Coordinator.
• Proven track record of delivering projects to completion.
• Strong ability to work autonomously and drive results.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to nurture a positive team atmosphere.
